Let's Have Some FLIPPIN' Seasonal Fun - Introducing... Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Christmas Tree
Hello & Happy FriYAY!
I'm so glad you've stopped by today as this week we are having some FLIPPIN' Seasonal Fun, AKA Ink & Flip Week Part Two.
So far this week myself and the Uniko Brand Ambassadors have revisited Ink & Flip Christmas Star, Ink & Flip Snowflake, shared a couple of sneak peeks and introduced the first NEW stencil, Ink & Flip Layering Cobweb yesterday.
Today we are introducing Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Christmas Tree.
For my first card today I wanted to go for a clean & simple style using just the Christmas Tree focal point layer.
I used two shades of green for the tree, Clover and Evergreen. I then fussy cut the tree out before adhering to my layered white card base using foam tape. To finish I added a few enamel dots and a sentiment from Christmas Sentiments.
For my second card I used both of the layers to create this simple festive design.
The background layer of this stencil is a little trickier to centralise as the point where the design overlaps is a little lower down. So I really recommend marking with a permanent marker at the centre point top and bottom. I'll show this in my video on YouTube later today.
The colours I used are Poppy & Cranberry for the background layer and Parsley & Evergreen for the tree. My chosen sentiment is from Simply Said Blocks Christmas.
