Let's Have Some FLIPPIN' Seasonal Fun - Introducing... Ink & Flip Layering Cobweb
Hello & Happy Thursday!
I'm so glad you've stopped by today as this week we are having some FLIPPIN' Seasonal Fun, AKA Ink & Flip Week Part Two.
So far this week myself and the Uniko Brand Ambassadors have revisited Ink & Flip Christmas Star and Ink & Flip Snowflake. Plus yesterday we shared a couple of sneak peeks.
Today the wait is over and we get to introduce you to the first new Ink & Flip Stencil, Ink & Flip Layering Cobweb.
I'm not usually one for Halloween cards or projects, I've probably only ever made a handful. But I had this idea and I had to run with it. But I think this fun design has more potential than just Halloween.
Let's have a look at what I made today...
I had this card idea when I was designing the stencil, you know I love rainbows! So it had to be the first card I made.
I started by selecting the colours I wanted to use and two shades of ink in each colour. I then used printer paper to create a mask so I could ink each triangle segment. For the first inking I used all the darker shades and then when I flipped to fill the design I used the lighter shades.
To finish I added a combination of sentiments. The HAPPY and DAY are from Floral Vines. I simply masked the parts of the sentiments I wanted to use. The BOO is created using Alphabet Outlined.
For my second card I used both layers of the stencil.
I started with what I call the background layer of the stencil. I chose two colours of orange ink, Marmalade and Spiced Cider. This creates a white space for the cobweb to fit inside perfectly.
For the cobweb I used Dove and Mushroom inks and again I used Alphabet Outlined and the Happy Birthday in full from Floral Vines. In hindsight I should have added an age to this card to make the eeek! a little more impactful?
That's all I have to share today, but again I am over on YouTube to introduce this stencil, you can watch it HERE.
Be sure to hop along with the Brand Ambassadors and your next stop is Izzy.

The rainbow cobwebs look brilliant and you have so much patience to create these! I love the bright pop of the orange on your second card. X
