Happy New Year!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Uniko January 2025 Release product introductions. Today we are ringing in the New Year with bling!

I am so excited to be starting the New Year with new products and I chose these two products, Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Gem AND Sparkle Sentiments today as I think they can be used for New Year cards and of course, so many more occasions.

Let's have a look at the stencil in action...

As it's a new year, I'm starting with a New Year's card, it was only right. Of course I kept things pretty clean and simple.

I decided to use just the gem layer of the stencil and opted for 4 colours of ink to create this precious gem. Yes, I forgot to add the Marmalade colour to my board for photographing!

I blended Honeysuckle & Marmalade on one side, then when flipped I blended Oceanside & Fig.

For the sentiment I combined the New Year from Christmas Sentiments with the ones contained in Sparkle Sentiments.

This sentiment set features a variety of larger sentiments in a lovely fancy font to be paired with accent sentiments in the same font I have used for the previously released Everyday Sentiments series, creating even more sentiment mix and match options.

Before I added the gem with foam adhesive, I splattered my card with some Gansi Tambi Starry Watercolours for a subtle sparkle.

For my next card I wanted to create a diamond card to pair with the You're A Diamond sentiment.

Unusually I opted for a dark card base, Papertrey Ink Smokey Shadow. I then inked the gem layer with Silver pigment ink embossed with Stardust. Then I flipped and inked the second layer with VersaMark and heat embossed with clear gloss EP. I love the sparkle this combo created.

I finished the card with the sentiment panel and a trio of rhinestones.
