January 2025 Release - Introducing... Flower Power #11 and Stencil - Mid Century Modern Circle & Stars

Welcome to Day 3 of the Uniko January Release product introductions.

I hope you are enjoying the release so far. Today we are introducing two more products, Flower Power #11 and Stencil - Mid Century Modern Stars & Circles.

Here's what I have made today...

For my first card today I have paired the new Flower Power #11 which is designed to be a spring tulip with Background Blocks Arts Decoratifs. I think they pair well.

The block is quite large compared to the flower and I wanted the flower to be the main focus, so I kept the block with no colour and used some Stampin' Blends to colour the flower.

The sentiments in Flower Power #11 are friendship themed, with lots of mix and match options. I chose Friends Until The End for this card and finished with a few tiny rhinestones.

For my next card using the Flower Power #11 I went back to a card layout I have used in the past for introductions of the flower power stamps.

I chose this layout for its simplicity, but also because I wanted to use some ribbon. I was thinking the other day while tidying my ribbon draw, how ribbon was once a huge trend.

You would see it used in card making a lot and I used to use it a lot in clean and simple ways like this, with little tabs poking out from an edge.

I've read that ribbons and bows will be a popular design in 2025, so maybe ribbon and ribbon bows on cards will become trendy again?

I used another of the sentiments from the stamp set and the multi ink / rock 'n' roll technique for the solid flower.

Lastly for today I inked up the new Stencil - Mid Century Modern Circle & Stars. This was a bonus product I added to the release, kind of last minute!

I'm glad I did though, as it is a fun design. I think it will be a useful addition to my popular Mid Century Modern collection. Here I have paired it with Mid Century Modern Frames.

I've used this colour combination before for stencilling, Oceanside, Peacock and Midnight. I love how they look together.

I added some red and yellow to the frame, along with the celebrate sentiment from the Mid Century Modern Frames set. Again some bling and dimension for the fussy cut frame and I was done!
