Ok, so we might not actually be introducing anything tinsel, but it's actually not far off! Today we have another Background Block, Background Blocks My Favourite Colour.

I love Christmas lights and you know I love colour. I have a memory as a child travelling to see my Nana at Christmastime and I would look out of the car window to spot the houses along the way with all the pretty twinkling lights.

So when I came across this sentiment I knew I had to do it Uniko style! You might recognise the font I have used that matches ones in the Mid Century Modern Collection too.

Let's have a look at this stamp in action.

This background block is perfect for quick, clean and simple cards. Here I have stamped in black ink and heat embossed with my favourite Stardust EP. I then used a rainbow selection of Nuvo Crystal Drops to colour the lights.

The domed effect makes the lights look just like real ones and the sparkle of the embossing powder gives the twinkly effect.

Next up I went for another quick, colourful card.

For this card I chose some of my favourite C9 colours, Poppy, Marmalade, Buttercup, Parsley, Oceanside and Fig to blend onto my card base.

I then stamped and heat embossed the background block, this time adding Nuvo White Blizzard Nuvo Drops to the lights.
