Celebrating You!
I started with the background using the old Christmas star stencil. I used a combination of blue distress oxide inks starting with the lightest. Then flipped the stencil and again with the same blues jut adding more of the darker ink so there was a subtle contrast between the two. Taking off the stencil I used black soot distress oxide around the edges to add a vignette and draw your eye in. I splattered some water on then to take some colour out and then splattered some gold kuretake paint all over to give the impression of smaller stars,
For the star in the middle I used the new stencil, using squeezed lemonade and then wild honey when I flipped it over. Finishing it off with funky fossils stellar glitter paste. Making sure one side was dry before I worked on the other to add that gorgeous shimmer. Once this was all dry I fussy cut the start and added an enamel dot in the centre. Then added foam tape to stick it to the background. The sentiment is die cut using mama elephant sentiment dies and the last thing to do was mount it on some matching red card for the base.
I love how sparkly this one turned out! Have a lovely day and Happy Crafting ❤️
