Combining Stencils And Background Blocks Stamps
Bonjour !
Izzy here with new Christmas inspiration cards.
As you may remember, back in October I challenged myself and I revisited the Christmas almost in July release by combining it with products that were newly back in stock. I loved it so much that I wanted to repeat the experience with the very latest products that Bev has restocked.
I started with the Background Builders Winter Garlands set that I combined with the Winter Foliage stencil recently back in stock.

I spread some glimmer paste onto the Winter Foliage stencil directly on my double white card and I let it dry. On a marker compatible paper I stamped the Holly garland of the Background Builders Winter Garlands set. I coloured the leaves and the berries with Copic markers and once done I heat embossed with gold powder. I completed the garland with the leaf and the berries of the Framed - Holly set in order to fill the border gaps.
I fussy cut the right part of the garland then I foam mounted it on the double card. To finish, on a Copic coloured strip of paper, I stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Christmas Sentiments set.
For my second card I used the back in stock Background Blocks Layered Stripes stamp together with the smallest poinsettia of the Layering Modern Poinsettias stencil.

On a double white card I stamped the Layered Stripes block with green shades. On a separate white card stock I brushed the small poinsettia of the Layering Modern Poinsettias stencil in red shades and I gold heat embossed the center.
I fussy cut it and I foam mounted it on top of the stripes. And to finish, I stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Simply Said II set.
And finally, for my last card, I combined the star of the Ink & Flip Christmas Star stencil with the Background Blocks Linear stamp.

I inked the stencil with two shades of pink and I fussy cut the image.
On the double white card I stamped and gold heat embossed the Background Block on the left corners. My first intention was to colour some of the squares in purple shades but I loved it so much like that with the star laid on top that I left it that way.
I foam mounted the star on the card and I stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Christmas Sentiments set.
Well, that's all from me today. Once again, this proves that all Uniko products are versatile and work beautifully together. Thanks for joining me and hopefully I’ve inspired you to play with your Uniko products.
Have a lovely weekend and thank you for stopping by.
