Mid Century Modern Baubles & Introducing MCM Baubles Stencil & Mask Inspiration Week - Day 5
Hello & Happy Friday.
Welcome to Day 5 of the Mid Century Modern Baubles & Introducing MCM Baubles Stencil & Mask Inspiration Week.
Hopefully you have hopped on over from HERE, where you will find inspiration and a link to Anita's blog for more inspiration.
My cards today were inspired by this image I came across on Pinterest and I thought it would be fun to recreate the look using Uniko products.

And here's how they turned out.

To get my head around recreating the look, I decided to start with using the Mid Century Modern Baubles stamp set.
I started by inking the Ink & Flip Christmas Tree, (the tree layer) in Clover and then when flipped in Evergreen. I then inked the tree again on a separate piece of card using Honeysuckle and Dragonfruit.

I then stamped all 3 baubles from the stamp set onto the pink stencilled panel. I placed the baubles where I wanted them to be on the finished card. I fussy cut the baubles and adhered them using foam tape.
To finish I added some silver thread, some rhinestones and a sentiment from the set.
Next I wanted to try the same look, but using the NEW Mid Century Modern Bauble Stencil & Mask.

I knew this card would be a one layer card and that I would be inking the baubles over the top of the Christmas tree. So I switched up the colours of my tree for this card.

I inked the tree in Oceanside and Peacock ink. I then ink blended the baubles in the same positions using Honeysuckle ink. I used Dragonfruit to stamp the bauble hangers, and this time I added some details to the baubles, also stamped in Dragonfruit and used a black fine liner to add the strings.
That's all from me today.
