It's Beginning To Look Like... Reintroducing Christmas Pop
Hello & Happy Tuesday.
I'm super excited you've stopped by today as today is the first of FIVE product introductions for our October/November Release.
Today I am delighted to be reintroducing, Christmas Pop. Hopefully you have hopped on over from HERE where I have talked a little about when Christmas Pop originally debuted and told you about our wonderful Guest this month, Natalia 😃
You will also find all the blog hop links on that post and I will share them at the end of this one too.
Anyway, let's have a look at this clear stamp set in action. First up a blast from the past and one of my favourites from the original release.
The sentiment on this card is from Most Wonderful which if I remember correctly, was released the same time. There is more inspiration from the original release HERE on Pinterest too.
Now for a couple of new cards.
First up I decided to go with a 'traditional' Christmas colour scheme of red, green and gold. I used Concord & 9th Parsley, Evergreen & Poppy and gold heat embossing.
And as you can see my card is far from clean & simple with lots of layering of the stamps. I used all but one of the trees from the set. I also added a simple sentiment from the popular Simply Said Blocks Christmas.
For my last card here today I decided to go for a more modern and non traditional colour scheme.
For this card I'm actually quite pleased with myself as I dived into my card scraps box 😂 so I couldn't list the exact colours I've used.
I started choosing 5 scraps that went well together and that were big enough to heat emboss the fun triangle patterned tree on. I used detail white embossing powder.
I fussy cut the trees out, quite easy with the straight lines and I layered them onto my card. I raised the green and orange trees with foam adhesive. My sentiment choice for this card is from Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder. I finally finished with some Dove grey enamel dots to compliment the sentiment colour.
That's all I have to share just now, but be sure to hop along to all the following links for more inspiration.
