It's Beginning To Look Like... October/November Reveal, Release, Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!
Woohoo!!
Happy Sunday & Happy New Release Day.
The two highly requested, on trend returning from retirement clear stamp sets and three brand new clear stamp sets, our Guest this month Natalia and the Uniko Brand Ambassadors have been introducing this week are now available HERE on the website.
Hopefully you have hopped on over from HERE where I have formally introduced the clear stamps that are making a trendy come back and the brand new ones. That is also officially the start of the hop and you'll find all the links to be able to comment along and be in the chance to win the giveaway.
Anyway, let's get to some more inspiration.
First up today I have Background Blocks Snow Flurry in a fun colour combo and an eye catching layout!
I also have a couple of little tips using this fun block.
First up, be sure to use a stamping platform to stamp this block. It is a solid design and often you'll want to repeat stamp to get the perfect impression.
My second tip is to use a non juicy ink pad, like one that needs re-inking. Sounds crazy, I know. However, the snowflakes on this stamp are wonderfully detailed and I've found if your ink is too juicy and 'pools' on the stamp it'll seep into the lovely detail.
My third tip is to use a smooth card stock. Again if your card is too corse or porous the ink will seep into the card and spread. A smooth card will ensure the ink sits and dries on top.
For this card I used Honeysuckle to ink the block. I then used a ruler and craft knife to cut the angled detail slicing through the image. I then moved it out a few millimetres leaving the base colour (Oceanside) to show. Then simply trimmed the over hang along the edges. To finish I embellished with the Let it Snow sentiment from our popular sell out Christmas Sentiments (it will come back in stock) and a stamped snowflake from the equally popular Framed - Snowflakes, plus a few Oceanside enamel dots.
For my second card today I couldn't resist using Christmas Pop.
I created this simple focal point using a masking technique and again my stamping platform. I started with the middle tree using Aqua Sky and masked it off. I then stamped either side in Nectar and Sprout.
Keeping the mask in place I stamped the starry detail on the outside trees in Grapefruit and Parsley. I then removed the mask to add the line detail in Oceanside to the middle tree.
My sentiment choice is from Pure Florals Poinsettia and I also added a little star above the centre tree in Stardust. Some simple mat layering and a Sprout card base and I was finished.
Unfortunately that was all I had time to make in time for today, I cheekily took a couple days off to spend with The Beans and my husband in Scarborough this week for half term 😜
However, you'll be seeing LOTS more using these new release clear stamps in the coming days and I will do my best to share a video over on Uniko's YouTube channel.
Be sure to check out the links below for more inspiration and to leave a comment to be in the chance to win the ENTIRE Release* Winner will be announced Monday 11th November 2024.
Thank you so much for joining us this week for all the fun, happy shopping!

Bev, such a lovely release; it’s wonderful to see older products given new life, especially since the ones you’ve chosen are, indeed, timeless. Your pink snowflakes are so pretty; the design, eye-catching: Thank you for the tips on getting a crisp image of those deliciously detailed flakes. Beautiful trio of trees, especially in the colours you’ve chosen. Wonderful inspiration!!
