Introducing... Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Hexagon

Hello & Happy Tuesday 😃

Welcome to the NEW Uniko website blog.

Hopefully you have hopped on over from HERE, the start of today's product introduction Blog Hop with the Uniko Brand Ambassadors links.

I'm super excited to introduce the newest addition to Uniko's exclusive and innovative Ink & Flip Stencil series, Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Hexagon.

Let's have a look at this stencil in action...

This first card is one I shared on World Bee Day a few weeks ago, but I wanted to share it again as I kinda love it!

For this card I used just the Geometric Hexagon stencil layer on its own. I started by inking & flipping the two hexagons on the left and right. On the left I used Honeysuckle and Poppy. On the right I usede Avocado and Oceanside.

I then placed the hexagon in the middle to ink and flip again in Buttercup and Marmalade to create a elongated hexagon banner.

The sentiment and flying bees are from the previously released Bee Happy clear stamp set.

This leads me onto my next card which was one we made at the Uniko Summer Stamping Retreat on Sunday.

You know I love a rainbow and it has become a kind of tradition to rainbow colour all the new Ink & Flip stencils!

I started with the rainbow background layer stencil and then decided to add a little dimension by inking and flipping the inside hexagon detail part of the stencil on a separate piece of card before fussy cutting and adhering using foam tape.

To finish I added a sentiment from a clear stamp set being introduced tomorrow and some busy bees!

Lastly for today, but by no means least I wanted to make a card with a more masculine vibe.

For this card I used just the hexagon detail layer and 4 shades of blue ink. Concord & 9th Powder, Harbor, Blueberry and Midnight.

The sentiment is from Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder and Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments.

That's all I have for today using this new stencil, but I'll be sharing more on release day when the new products will also be available, Saturday 29th June 9am BST.
