Introducing... Butterfly Serenade

Hello & Happy Tuesday.
Welcome to day 1 of the April Release product introductions. I hope you have had a wonderful holiday weekend celebrating Easter.
The Beans went away in a caravan with their grandparents and had a whale of a time by the coast. At home, hubby and I started to tackle a huge fencing job, that we clearly underestimated time wise. So it's going to be one of those jobs we have to spend a bit of time each evening doing.
Anyway, enough chatter! Let's get to the good stuff! Hopefully you saw the five sneak peeks yesterday HERE and you've hopefully hopped on over from HERE and you are ready for the first product introduction.
Butterfly Serenade.
I love butterflies and I know I've been a little obsessed recently, but I just couldn't resist bringing this fun set out.
As I said over on the Blogspot blog, this butterfly is a smaller version of the one I designed for the CraftStash Papercraft Society Box. So if you have that limited edition box, then these will work along side it.
You know I love a rainbow, so I couldn't resist a rainbow of butterflies! I surprisingly made a DL card too, which is not my norm at all. But I wanted to get in as many colours as possible.
The butterflies are fussy cut and adhered down the centre using foam tape and my sentiment is from another stamp set being introduced this week.
For my second card today I opted for a colour card base, another unusual thing for me. This was also one of the cards in the April Uniko Stamping Retreat kit.
I'm dusting off some older, kind of forgotten 'techniques', like this tone on tone colouring. I heat embossed the serenade and sentiment in silver, before colouring with my Prismacolor Pencils.
I stamped and heat embossed a few of the single butterflies, fussy cut them and adhered them using foam tape.
That's all I have to share here using this set, but there will be a video on the Uniko YouTube Channel HERE later today, where I will be introducing this stamp set in more detail.
Be sure to hop along to Izzy's blog HERE to see more inspiration.
