Introducing... Background Blocks Offset Stripes

Today we are introducing a new addition to our ever growing and super popular Background Blocks Collection, I give you Background Blocks Offset Stripes. Just when you thought I'd covered all the stripes I come up with a new fun one!
Let's have a look at it in action...
This is another of the cards we made at the Uniko Summer Stamping Retreat, it features the new Background Block, but also some flowers we will be introducing tomorrow.
It's a time consuming technique, but I love creating ombre stripes. I wanted to make the flowers pop against the background, so I used shades of grey for the stripes.
For my next card, I went rainbow. It would be rude not to, right?
I started with the block using Cranberry, Poppy, Marmalade, Buttercup, Sprout, Parsley, Oceanside, Peacock, Blueberry, Fig and Honeysuckle.
To finish I dusted off my peonies from Hello Lovely and simply stamped it in black over the top of the rainbow stripes and slightly off the edge of my card. The sentiment is also from the Hello Lovely clear stamp set.
That's all I have to share using this block today, but I will have more on Release Day, Saturday 29th June 9am BST. Which is when all the release products will be available for purchase.
