Christmas In July 2025 - Introducing Background Blocks Merry Christmas Scramble

Happy Seasonal Sunday!

Yesterday we kicked off the introductions to the Uniko Christmas in July Release products. It's not one to be missed, so be sure to check it out, HERE.

Today myself and the Brand Ambassadors are back with the next introduction. You might know that I love adding instant pattern, fonts and colour and I am super excited to be introducing and adding Background Blocks Merry Christmas Scramble to the Background Block collection.

Hopefully you hopped on over from HERE, the start of the hop. You will find all the Brand Ambassador links.

Let's have a look at the stamp in action.

I Started off with a fairly simple design, that I then decided to add to! I started with the block stamped on a panel measuring 6.7 x 9 cm and I stamped the block in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.

I then coloured it in a rainbow of Stampin' Up! Blends. I added a tiny bit of glitter gel pen to the holly leaves and I was then simply going to adhere it to my card base.

But I then thought it needed something else, so decided to add the block design to my. card base. Again stamping in black, but this time I coloured the letters in dark and light Smokey Shadow. I then adhered the colourful block with foam adhesive.

For my second card today I went for colourful again and added some extra sparkle!

I stamped the block on a piece of card measuring 7.5 x 9.5 cm, again in black ink and I coloured with the same markers as the first. The added Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter changes the colours a little, in a beautiful way.

I layered the colourful and sparkly block onto a piece of black card and this time I wanted to show how the block coordinates with day ones product introduction, Stencil - Layering Bauhaus Christmas Blocks.

You might have noticed the little holly leaves and berries in the top right above the 'r' are the same as the holly leaves and berries in the stencil. I often like to use icons I have already designed across my products, so that they do coordinate with each other and can be mixed and matched in creative ways.

Here I masked off other parts of the Stencil - Layering Bauhaus Christmas Blocks so I could ink the holly leaves randomly on my base card in Parsley ink. I then did the same to ink the holly berry in Pimento ink, to create this fun background. The block is then adhered with foam tape for a bit of dimension.

That's all I have to share here, I do have a video HERE over on YouTube showing this stamp in action.

Izzy is your next stop on the hop.

All these products will be available at 9am BST Thursday 31st July 2025.

Fun cards with this sentiment design! I especially love the second one with the colorful and glittery letters, and the stenciled background!
